We have an incredible community over at Adobe Live UK. And when Adobe said they were taking a (well deserved) break for two weeks, our guys in the community decided to do something themselves.
Setting up a challenge to keep us all busy through July, by creating 5 things that say summer to us. A board of prompts was contributed to by some of the members of the community, or you could choose your own things to create. And when I say 'create', this has been illustrations, music, photography, composites, patterns... lots of interesting creations.
Knowing that I didn't have a lot of time to get mine completed. I used the prompts of:
flip flops
hat
seagulls
white
picnic blanket
flowers in bloom
deck chair
tall cold drink
blue
sunglasses
beaches (kind of) and
ice cream
I hadn't intended to use so many....it just happened.
I had always intended to create a repeat pattern, but initially thought it would be of just the items. Once I started drawing the seagulls though, they brought their own ideas!
