One of the most beautiful commissions I have had the pleasure of working on, for equally as lovely clients.
The little video I made (below) explains the process.
If it's not working for you though, I will quickly explain that the client reached out to me after see one of my sketchbook illustrations that I had shared on social media. They had asked me to consider creating a mural for a space they had in mind and sent me some pictures.
I followed up with a few suggestions for the space and they chose one. I was incredibly grateful that they had already considered the practicalities, and had marine ply cut to the size, which made it easier for me to paint (than the stone wall!).
These were big pieces, and luckily they had space for me to work in too, leaving the art work space to dry undisturbed between visits.
It was such a pleasure to work on, and the clients became friends.
Four years later and the murals look as good as the day they were painted.
A photo sent to me from the client, two years after completion - still looking fantastic!
