Colour version of girl with her hands in the air

Original sketch of girl with hands in the air
For Marcie here I drew my sketch and took photos of some coloured pencil lines I had drawn, and a rug I had made - I liked the woolly texture. Once Marcie's sketch was imported into Fresco I drew over her. I could have brightened up the sketch in Ps and used that but that would have taken me longer!
Using a new layer and a vector brush I drew and filled shapes where I wanted the patterns to be, imported the photos and used a clipping mask to the shapes.

Colour version of man with walking sticks and sleeping cat on his head

Original sketch of man
For my old man I lightened my sketch picture slightly, using only the edit setting on my iPad photos, then imported into Fresco. I didn't want to re-draw him as I had with Marcie because I like the smudgy texture on his jacket. I used a mask to cover the edges of my imported picture. On a new layer I made shapes, as I had for Marcie, in order to create a clipping mask. On the layer above I drew the stripes of his jacket and clipped it with a multiply blend mode. The sketch layer is on top also set to multiply.
